Instruction to undertake a full redesign of 4 acres of gardens surrounding a large 14th Century house. The brief included the creation of a kitchen garden, a dahlia bed and the complete overhaul of terrace beds and borders. Works were broken into 4 distinctive projects.

Storm damage brought down 10 trees which were additionally dealt with, reusing the fell wood for fires and paths. Attractive terrace beds were created with colour, height and fragrant smells as well as symmetrical off terrace beds. A kitchen garden was successfully created with 16 beds laid and within 6 months, produce was ready for harvesting. This project continues.
